FACIAL PIERCING

NOSE WING

We recommend healing this piercing with a microlabret, usually 1mm thick. You should wait at least 6 months before switching to a ring. It is best to have it changed at a studio the first time to avoid damaging the piercing and to get help choosing the right size and design of the piece of jewellery.

SEPTEM

A septum piercing sits in the soft tissue between the cartilages of the nasal septum, and usually heals in 2-3 months. It usually works well to heal this piercing with a ring, and if you need to hide it, you can either have a retainer inserted or a bent horseshoe that can be tilted up into the nose.

BRIDGE

In this piercing we put a straight barbell, usually 1.6mm thick. Normal growing time is about 4-6 months. This is a piercing that can migrate or be pushed out, and in some cases it leaves quite a visible scar when the jewelry is removed.

EYEBROWS

In eyebrow piercings, we only use bent barbells, usually 1.2 mm thick. The piercing takes a minimum of 3-4 months to heal, and it is not usual to change jewelery during the healing period. We recommend waiting a long time to use barbells with spikes as it is easier to get stuck in these pieces of jewelry, which can cause the piece to migrate or be pushed out completely.
